Tezpur - Tezpur is just 180 km from Guwahati, the commercial capital of Assam. Tezpur is base point to visit Nameri Wildlife Sanctuary known for Mahaseer fishing and bird watching. Tezpur is also base point to visit Wild Mahaseer, a celebrated experiential plantation bungalow stay.
Dirang - Dirang is a getaway in West Kameng district with apple orchards and sheep breeding farms. Its a transit option for guests on the Bomdila - Tawang route.
Tawang - Tawang is home to the world famous “Tawang Ganden Namgyal Lhatse”, popularly known as Tawang monastery.
Bomdila - Bomdila is lies en-route to Tawang and guests stay here for a night before moving onwards to Tawang.
Guwahati - Guwahati on the Brahmaputra River is the largest city in the North-East Region of India. It is a gateway to neighboring state of Meghalaya / Arunachal Pradesh and from where Wildlife sanctuaries and tea plantations in Assam are accessible.

    • Bomdila: - Bomdila Monastery - Bomdila Monastery (1965) is a renowned monastery of the Bomdila area, visited by locals and guests travelling to Tawang. 
    • Dirang: - Farms of Dirang - Dirang is renowned for its orchards. Apple and Kiwi are extensively grown in the area and guests visit Regional Apple Nursery, and Kiwi Farms around DirangNational Yak Research Centre - The National Research Centre on Yak at Dirang has a yak farm at 8500 ft asl where nore than 150 yaks of different varieties are being housed.
    • Tawang: - Tawang Monastery - Tawang Monastery (10000 ft asl - 17th Century) is one of the largest monasteries of Mahayana sect in Asia and the largest in India. It is said to be one of the biggest Buddhist monasteries in the world outside of Lhasa with about 450 monks studying there at any given time. There is also a Center for Buddhist Cultural Studies where young monks are taught arithmetic, English and Hindi as well as their traditional monastic education. The present Gyalsey Rinpochey lives and teaches at Tawang. Tawang is one of the remotest areas of India and a road Journey to Tawang is nothing short of an experience.      

Day 1: Arrival In Guwahati To Tezpur

Upon your arriving at the airport / Railway Station in Guwahati, meet our tour representative who would help you with an assisted transfer to Tezpur then Time permitting explore plantations around the area. Overnight in Tezpur.

Day 2: Tezpur To Dirang (205 Kms - 7 Hrs).

Proceed to Dirang. Dirang is a riverside town and a transit point for travelling to Tawang. Dirang is blessed with exceptional Himalayan beauty. Time permitting guests can undertake walks around the area. Overnight in Dirang.

Day 3: Dirang To Tawang (145 Kms - 7 Hours)

The 3day morning, get ready to get transferrd to Tawang (145 kms - 7 hours) via Sella Pass at 13,700 ft. The route is blessed with exceptional Himalayan beauty and drive is nothing short of an experience. Tawang (10000 ft asl) is the largest Monastery in India and is one of the oldest. The monastery belongs to the Gelugpa school and has a religious association with Drepung Monastery in Lhasa. Overnight in Tawang.

Day 4: Local Sightseeing

Today after morning breakfast start visit Tawang Monastery complex and spend time to experience spirituality of the area. Guests can look to undertake short walks around the area, visit market and nearby lakes. Overnight in Tawang.

Day 5: Tawang To Bomdila (185 Kms - 7 Hrs)

Proceed for Bomdila . Bomdila is a beautiful small town from where one can see the brilliant landscape and snow-clad mountains of the Himalayan Range. Overnight in Bomdial.

Day 6: Bomdila To Guwahati (265 Kms - 7 Hrs)

Today morning start Proceed to Guwahati.

Day 7: Departure From Guwahati.

Early morning, assisted transfer to the Guwahati Airport to catch a flight or Railway station  for an onward journey..
